About Sverka
A Free Press is an Independent Press.
StanceWe support democracy and the freedom of the press.
MethodWe set what Russian state media reports beside the documented record. Every fact is confirmed by at least two independent sources or labeled as one side's claim.
Who we areAn independent newsroom outside Russia. Opinion is kept separate from news and labeled.
How we work
- AI monitors wire services, independent Russian-language outlets, and official statements from Moscow and Kyiv.
- The editor picks stories that Russian state media covers differently or not at all.
- Every claim is checked against sources, and discrepancies are stated in the text.
- AI drafts in both languages; nothing is published without the editor's approval.
