President Volodymyr Zelensky said on 27 October that over the past two weeks Russia has used more than 100 ballistic missiles against Kyiv and the Kyiv region. The Kyiv Independent and Ukrainska Pravda both reported his statement. The figure is the president’s own; the items do not contain independent confirmation of the count.

Zelensky also said Ukraine currently lacks missiles for its Patriot air-defence systems and that deliveries of aid are being delayed, according to Ukrinform, the Ukrainian state news agency. Ukrainska Pravda reported that he expects trilateral talks in November.

The Kyiv Independent writes that the statement followed a Russian ballistic missile attack the day before on a university campus, a major bridge, an administrative building and medical facilities in Kyiv. According to the outlet, one person was killed and 15 were injured. No second independent outlet in the available material confirms these details.

Ukraine’s Cabinet of Ministers has instructed the Ministry for Recovery, Infrastructure and Transport to speed up repairs to Kyiv’s Southern Bridge, which was damaged in a missile attack overnight on 27 October, Ukrinform reported. The Cabinet is an official party, and its account is given here as its own.
